A significant number of the banners of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania at the Battle of Grunwald were raised in the lands of present-day Belarus. Our ancestors made a substantial contribution to this historic victory. Therefore, displaying the Belarusian national flag at the Grunwald battlefield would rightfully acknowledge their role and the right of Belarusians to their own historical memory.
