In case you folks did not know scratch.mit.edu will be releasing AI features in the upcoming Scratch 4.0 version this has torn the community apart in some ways, but if you want scratch to be fully AI Free sign here!

People should not depend on Ai and should enjoy coding for what it is (including being hard sometimes).
I want scratch to ONLY be a place where people, specifically kids or armature coders can show of their skills (Nothing against the pro coders on the site). There is nothing stopping people right now from using AI, so there is nothing we can do to stop Scratch from becoming unoriginal slop. Lets fix that together.
Scratch is a website that is all about creativity, about learning to do things yourself, about community and collaboration. AI is the antithesis of that. To add AI to Scratch would be to ruin everything that makes Scratch great.
AI steals from artists, is terrible for the environment, and makes the electricity bill for people living near data centers way higher. No one wants this.

I used to be a scratch user but quit, and I know the site means a lot to many people (including my friends!) and the site is for creativity so lets keep it creative and not use AI
