As someone who is expecting a baby and who plans to live in Shelby county for a long time, I don’t want to and I don’t want my child to have to deal with any and all of the issues they bring for young children. I also don’t want one so close to my house if something happens with it that it can harm me or my family. And in less professional words, I just hate the fucking things and this area won’t see a single bit of the benefit from them, it will go to heavily populated area with more power need

So tired of our farmland being treated as an expendable resource. Our land feeds our communities and supports generations of farmers-I don’t want to see it industrialized and taken out of production for projects that don’t belong in the middle of working farmland.

A wind farm would ruin the land in order to generate unstable unreliable power that won't be long-term. Using a decommissioned coal plant to build a fast neutron reactor would be a much more realistic long term alternative. Fast neutron reactors use spent nuclear waste that we already have to power it. Reuse the commercial space we already have.

I live in rural Shelby County and I do not support wind farms, solar farms nor data centers being built anywhere around me. I do not want the noise pollution or pollution of my view in any way. I do not believe this is green energy. I am fearful of the lasting impact on the land, the wildlife, land values and most importantly the health of all people in this area. I DO NOT support Foxglove windturbines. The FIGHT has started !

I live here. These turbine don’t belong really anywhere but definitely not on the richest farmland in the country and arguably the world. I know very well that when they are old and broken they will not get taken down and will be left up for another 20 or 40 years. They are loud and noisy, distracting this is a peaceful area and does not need to be interrupted with a wind turbine that isn’t really efficient. Put them where people aren’t. Small communities vs rich companies. We are nobody’s…

I do not want to live in a wind turbine factory. I have seen bald eagles close to our home, and there are a number of other bird species around. Water flow above and below ground is a concern as is the subsoil environment. The noise, red lights at night, and obstruction of rural sky is problematic. We also have many people who have built homes on a few acres to enjoy country living, and they will likely see their homes resale value drop. Air quality, vibration.
