This is a petition calling on North Tawton Town Council to NOT use Glyphosate and to manually remove all weeds OR leave the weeds like so many other towns and villages across Devon do and encourage volunteers to remove weeds if the lengthsman cannot remove them.

Glyphosate is harmful to every living thing and also known to be carcinogenic. Please please don’t use it for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
Because ut has been proven to be highly toxic to humans and nature..and it has been banned in many places
we cannot have this highly dangerous and contentious toxic chemical sprayed around the parks and town
Because its carcinogenic
Too much harm is being done to the planet and the risks are too great to ignore where glyphosate is concerned.

Roundup is so dangerous. It is hard to imagine our own Town Council using it. They are there to look after our interests. It seems unbelievable that they could be so uncaring of our safety as to use a substance that has been so widely banned. And how can a report created by an employee be considered independent?
