The village has reached its capacity, and further housing would place unacceptable pressure on local infrastructure and change the character of the community. Also flooding in the area.

It is in wrong place. The lane is subject to heavy flooding made worse by the warehouses towards Pineham. Concreting over more land will increase hardship to those who live at bottom beech lane who already suffer hardship as a result. Historic area will be spoiled.

We need to look after the infrastructure of the village

Heavy traffic on Beech Lane, floods there and will spoil the area. Also, access to the bridge is tight on the corner from Beech Lane and very difficult to see traffic coming.

I object to the loss of the green rural space in the village.

Camp Lane is a lovely ancient track of historical significance. The other infrastructure within kislingbury is not capable of supporting a significant quantity of additional housing. I am 100% against this proposed development.

The government and local council should not be forcing more houses on historic villages like this. If they have to build more house build them on brown field sites in towns and cities. Leave the countryside alone.

I have lived in kislingbury on and off for 27 years now ,grew up here as a child too.Its a lovely village and already big enough with over 500 properties and population of around 1500,so another 58 properties would be a disaster in my opinion, especially in beech lane near the playing fields, the traffic would be a nightmare in the village, it's bad enough now.

This petition shows the strength of the feeling in our community about this Planning Application and we should be proud of that and our village.

Protect our green spaces, limit traffic as access is not suitable, the area already floods, extra pressure on resources such as local doctors and school

I have already objected to the development for a variety of reasons outlined in my objection logged against the application on the planning portal .

This application far exceeds the village plan why did we do one if the authorities pay no attention, village infrastructure will not cope even more human waste will be pumped into open water again authorities ignore reality that the pumping station is not big enough .More cars through our village roads AND over our historic bridge. Will the authorities only listen once the bridge collapses. Finally the developers are NOT building lower entry homes they are building more of what we already have

I do not want this new build, as it nice for walker, also it help to take some of the flood water away, before it hit the village, As I know from storm in 2024 where we were flooded,

There is already problems with flooding and drain issues when there is heavy rainfall that have not been addressed. The bridge over the river is being repaired due to damage from the large traffic flow through the village on an hourly basis. The village has only one shop with only limited parking outside n parking in general throughout the village is an issue. To add more traffic/housing can only make a bad situation worse., unless it comes with the guarantee that all these issues will be fixed
