NO to redevelopment, keep our Golf Course. The club is built on the foundations of members and social activities we have.

18 holes of golf is more important than 12, the membership is amazing at Wickham Park Golf Club we are all friends.

It's a well established golf course which provides an excellent habitat for wildlife and golfers alike. A 22 hole course is not a proper course and many members would leave, and would be the demise of a great, social club.

With welborne already in development the strain on the road network, let alone schools and doctors will be excessive. Add to that the loss of a long established golf club, which is a key social point for many , with a great youth academy, would be a disaster for the area. You cannot have a successful 12 hole course , it does NOT work!

Wickham Park Golf Course is an established golf course which provides 365 days of the year social, sport and recreation facilities to people living in this area and should remain as is.

This development on top of what’s happening at Welbourne will cause an absolute nightmare on the current infrastructure around wickham.

Given that the golf course was previously considered by Winchester through the Local Plan process and was not selected for allocation of housing, I don’t see any justification that materially changes anything to justify reconsidering the site suitable. North Whiteley is in close proximity and is already adding 3500 additional houses.

Physical and mental health, friendships. We are losing too many golf courses.

WPGC has been an important part of the area, I’ve been a member for over 20 years and seen vast improvements not only to the club and course but to the local wildlife. It would be ludicrous to build more houses what with Welbourne just down the road putting pressure on the local community.

Its vital to preserve the natural environment for all. Generations to come. Housing just for the sake of profit is immoral.

I can see no reason why the golf course needs to be developed for new housing. It will destroy green belt land and have a dramatic impact on the local wildlife that lives on the golf course.

We have already lost large tracts of land in South Hampshire to housing development. Wickham Park GC is a part of vital green space which must be protected, not only for those who use it for a range of recreational purposes, but also for the rich diversity of flora and fauna that inhabit it. Approval for housing development would be appalling.

Too much new housing going up locally. These won’t be affordable to local people and the loss of a valuable recreational facility doesn’t add up to a suitable development

Building on a green field leasure facility that is used 365 days a year by hundreds of people of both genders. Enabling young to get into sport and older to stay fit isn't looking after the local the populations interests. Plus it is conjesting a managable village roads. Shops. Docyors etc. Especially with the Welbourne village. Project near. Overkill.
