We have already lost large tracts of land in South Hampshire to housing development. Wickham Park GC is a part of vital green space which must be protected, not only for those who use it for a range of recreational purposes, but also for the rich diversity of flora and fauna that inhabit it. Approval for housing development would be appalling.

Too much new housing going up locally. These won’t be affordable to local people and the loss of a valuable recreational facility doesn’t add up to a suitable development

Building on a green field leasure facility that is used 365 days a year by hundreds of people of both genders. Enabling young to get into sport and older to stay fit isn't looking after the local the populations interests. Plus it is conjesting a managable village roads. Shops. Docyors etc. Especially with the Welbourne village. Project near. Overkill.

Is there any green open space in this part of Hampshire that developers don’t want to build on? We cannot afford to lose more of our countryside.

I'm devastated that consideration is being given to yet more destruction of our green and pleasant land. When will it end?

So, we’re are going to see more green belt covered in concrete. Twelve holes is a pretend golf course. What are the owners thinking?

WPGC is in its 30th year and it would be a shame to lose a well established 18hole golf course with around 700 members to another housing development.
