I’m against cramming so many houses per acre. The roads are not built for this development. Infrastructure is not adequate.

The current infrastructure can't handle an influx of that many people. We can't even get main roads repaired as it is. Those developments will also bring in more crime and corruption. Let the farms and animals be.

I think Rural, farming comunities need to be protected from big density buyouts by keeping them properly compensated for the services they provide. keep a genuin community, close.

I live on Gold Hill Road and we are already being flooded with housing developments. We are losing the rural way of life. We have many problems with traffic and trying to get on and off Highway 220. There has been multiple accidents AND even today I was almost hit by a truck crossing over to get onto Gold Hill Road. This county is moving to be a bedroom county at the expense of existing taxpayers. Our quality of life is being taken away.

I grew up on that farm it's a shame that they want to destroy that land and community that fire department can't handle all of those homes and the school can't handle it either if you put houses that close and one catches on fire several homes will burn before it can be put out

Ive seen what happens when politicians get to decide zoning issues. I original lived in Ohio and built our home on an acre a n d half but 11 years that c same acreage went from $2500.00 / acres to $33000.00 / acre . The city planners decided they only needed 1 acre parcels which the older residents owning larger parcels and farms decided to sell. This created a building boom, drove taxes to 4 times what they were and homes priced at $650000.00 instead of $150000.00 to $200000.00. A disastrous

Keep Rockingham rural. I moved here years ago to enjoy small town life. We do not need more houses in this area. Extra traffic and people lead to less safety. I don't want that for my family.

This is the beginning of the end for family farms, walkable and safe neighborhoods, and the quality of life that many hold dear. I have been told by many people "well you can always sell some land,* but that would be an insult to my father and my ancestors who settled here in the 1700s; you dont trade your heritage for money. I understand why some have been tempted, but it is a deal with the devil, and cannot be undone.

We do not have the infrastructure to support an influx of that magnitude (schools, roads, water and power needs, etc). Also once the farm land is developed that is another permanent loss to agriculture and wildlife. At the rate land is being developed there will be no rural areas left to enjoy.
