I own a small piece of land in Rockingham County, where I live. I don't want all this building to crowd us into small areas. Also as has been pointed out, our infrastructure for fire, EMS and more should not be minimized by requiring more of our workers than could be done.

We in Rockingham County bought to live in a quiet rural area. We need to stop the expansion of housing here. Buy letting this project to go forward we loss that country feeling. It use to be that if you build a home here it had to be on 1 acre of land and that has changed. The infrastructure can not handle this. Roads, schools, water, and sewage are not set up for that. Nature in the area will be pushed out or they will have to be removed. On top of that services will have to be increased.

I moved from TN to a more rural area because this has happened over there and is out of control. Force developer to pay for all related infrastructure costs and tell them 2 -3 houses per acre. They MUST be responsible for ALL impact fees

I strongly oppose the rezoning of Dalton Farm. We need farmland, not another 1,100 houses. Once more than 500 acres of rural land are covered with houses and roads, we cannot get it back. This development would increase traffic, strain local infrastructure, and permanently change our community. Please protect our rural land and reject this rezoning.

We live off Ellisboro. It is a 2 lane highway. We don’t have enough water for our own homes. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
