Ellisboro /Huntsville is very important to the community. Mr. Charles Henry Dalton and his wife, Ann GAVE the land for the Huntsille Community Center, the Huntsville Ballfield and the Huntsville VOLUNTEER Fire Department (if I recall correctly via my father, W. Harold Collins, Sr.) Please let's respect the land of the Dalton's and leave it alone. I totally agree with the sentiments of the other petition signers.

Because the road I live on now, Griffin Road, has already lost our battle with Rockingham County! I grew up in the Huntsville Community and I don’t want our rural part of the County to be destroyed! We need trees, farm lands, streams and wild animals

I moved here 21 years ago, my husband and I drove to Greensboro every day. This community was wonderful it was quiet and peaceful. I am furious that the data centers and the proposed housing were planned years ago. The entire community will change and that housing will be not for the citizens but for outside influencers. So very much wrong with this housing proposal I can’t even wrap my head around.

To stop a development that would burden to the current residents while benefiting the developer. This planned development is putting the cart before the horse. Get the infrastructure in place first. The intersection of Ellisboro Rd and 220 will become a nightmare, accidents waiting happen.This is in addition to the stated

As a parent of children in RoCo schools and a spouse of a school employee, these schools do not have the capacity to accommodate the already under construction developments; they absolutely CANNOT handle 3,000+ more single family homes.
We don’t have jobs to support these families in the area, we don’t have grocery stores, gas stations, medical services or utility infrastructure to support this rapid growth.

The amount of homes they are wanting to build in this area is just to many. The population for these homes will overwhelm our roads and the school traffic is already bad. Most people here have farms and have to use this road to travel with tractors.It will cause more accidents with this much congestion.
