Allowing this proposed development to rezone and set a precedent for future developments is more than a disservice to our community, it is an unsafe project. We, the taxpayers, will be the ones funding the needed changes in our infrastructure to support a project of this magnitude. I am against it for numerous reasons, but mostly because our community deserves better!

Over crowded roads, will be to fast pace. taking the homes of the wildlife (they have no voice no protection). Changes the look and peacefulness of our community to congestion.

We do not have adequate infrastructure within the area to support that much growth.

This is my Home town, I’d like for it to remain that and not be turned into a suburb of Greensboro. 3100 additional homes would be a death sentence for this community. It would have lasting consequences for so many families that live in the immediate vicinity. Farming should be at the forefront, Period. This has always been an agricultural community and if that ever changes I would no longer want to live here. “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything”.

Save our small town and resources.

There are not enough resources available, schools available, or even room for this many people. The roads are dangerous enough as it is with most of our community having to travel for work. This will just cramp up the roads even more which gives more risk for fatalities.

Protect our communities. This is rockingham county not Greensboro. We need grass and trees not a whole nother city in the middle of the country living.

I live in this area nd we need more farms not more houses. We do not have the infrastructure to support that many homes. We aren't opposed to growth but we cant out grow our community we have to think about schools, ems, fire stations, traffic etc

I'm signing the petition because we choose to live in the country living not a concrete jungle or the city. We are Rockingham county not Greensboro. We do not need 3100 homes in the country. The roads are too dangerous. There is not a adequate water supply or sewer or gas run to support that amount. The EMS, fire, & schools can't support that amount. These rich developers are just getting insanely rich off regular everyday country citizens that choose the country life style not the city living.

I live on Ellisboro and we do not need all the extra traffic and our roads, farmers, and school system are not equipped for all of these extra houses and people!

We live on our family farm right across the road from this proposed development. My father in law and his daddy worked their whole lives here and should not have to deal with this.
