This area is not prepared for this type of growth. Our current resources (fire dept, schools, roads) are stretched thin now. We prefer to keep this area rural and with a countryside facade. We don’t want to turn into Greensboro with nothing but housing developments everywhere you look.

Allowing this proposed development to rezone and set a precedent for future developments is more than a disservice to our community, it is an unsafe project. We, the taxpayers, will be the ones funding the needed changes in our infrastructure to support a project of this magnitude. I am against it for numerous reasons, but mostly because our community deserves better!

This is my Home town, I’d like for it to remain that and not be turned into a suburb of Greensboro. 3100 additional homes would be a death sentence for this community. It would have lasting consequences for so many families that live in the immediate vicinity. Farming should be at the forefront, Period. This has always been an agricultural community and if that ever changes I would no longer want to live here. “If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything”.
