Our little town is too small to have this many homes added , there won't be enough space in schools, not enough jobs, and it will take longer for firemen and police to get to place to place. You will be giving up so much history on the land that we have left. Keep housing communities in the city not in the country.

I have lived on mineral springs rd 25 years and traffic is horrible now as a cut thru. We definitely don't need traffic from 3,100 homes.

What will happen to the ecosystem in this area? The state protected birds of prey(barn owls) the federally protected beavers that dam up the creeks? The deer population will not go down they will just cause more accidents, what will be the impact from the pollution from the construction- runoff into the creeks and into Dan river? The coyotes will be forced to neighboring farms. Who are the people coming? How many rapist, murders, sex affenders? How many on disability, ss, and food stamps?

This is important to me because I have lived in the area for 46 years of my life. All the farm land is being put houses even on Gold Hill Road. They’re popping up everywhere and I have lived on that road all my life and it’s ridiculous. That is right there where a whole bunch of farmland is we need that farmland. The Lord has given us a gift in the gift is the land that we live on and we eat off of it we grow things to help our community, not homes food land we have enough people living in Madis

As a small farmer in neighboring Guilford county I have seen firsthand how development has impacted the road I live on and the land around me. Two large plots of land recently fell victim to “gated communities”. This his driven my taxes up made it hard to maintain my land that has been in my family for generations.
