I suffered similar to this when the Toll Paza closed so not only appreciate the problem but can also hear it and have often wondered what the Police are doing. In my experience they do nothing claiming they are too busy.

The noise and dangerous riding from hoons impacts local businesses but is also a danger to families and small children as those riders predominantly on motorbikes have no regard for pedestrians in the foreshore area and along Brisbane Rd

I am sick of drivers of hotted up loud hoon cars and motorbike riders who have zero respect for others. It is out of control and police seem to completely ignore the problem

These hoons and their cars with modified exhaust systems create so much noise it is unbearable to live in these areas. Shouldn’t the police also be looking at compliance with the ADR - Australian Design Rules - strikes me that this is a nationwide problem.

The amount of disruptive noise has increased markedly over the past 6 months to the point of thinking we need to move. I imagine it will become a huge deterrent to holiday makers

Unacceptable levels of unnecessary noise at all hours and generally inconsiderate and poor and non-consequential behaviour.

It’s out of control - esp the boy racers and hoons. We all deserve better.

The noise of hotted up hooning cars and loud exhausts is ruining the time we spend in our apartment on the corner of First Ave and Venning Street. We fully support any recommendation that may alleviate this.

As an owner at Raffles, we are forever bombarded with the noise from some vehicles and motorbikes which is excessive to say the least, it would certainly help if the speed limit was reduced and / or calming measures taken.

This beautiful place is completely spoiled by these excessively loud off road vehicles and motorbikes that drive like absolute lunatics. The speed that some vehicles travel through the traffic lights is worrying and it feels very unsafe at times whilst waiting to cross the road over to The Pavilion and back.

Hoons are out of control, also on Brisbane Street. You try to go out for a nice dinner and people are running a muk.

We arrived to our apartment in the middle of the night got off our bus and heard motorbikes screaming and revving their engines up and down the streets. The following day whilst waiting to catch the bus we saw motorbikes doing monos up the main road pas meta Street in Mooloolaba.

Noise is an issue. The new carpark seems to attract some sort of time trial top to bottom arrangement on the weekend evenings. Surely it would be relatively simple to sort that out.
