I invested in this Esplanade because its views and serenity, it is now becoming very noisy and dangerous specially for us Senior citizens.

The noise generated by the traffic on the street is becoming intolerable.... and these initiatives will start the process of addressing the problems and re-establishing the quality of life for local residents.

Hooning between Venning & Meta Sts has become a “Race track Sport” to see who can get to the next set of lights first without hitting anyone. Police have enough to do already but this area needs to be monitored for everyone’s safety.
Noise levels are becoming unbearable and unacceptable.

Traffic in this area of the coast is growing and once the 2 new hotels open (Aria and crn Venning St) will create further problems. Council needs to get a handle these issues.

When we visit family it’s not a good sleep due to exceptionally loud vehicle noises. We’ve found it also unsafe crossing at esplanade traffic lights with short time on green man.

It is not only becoming noisy but dangerous to. If nothing is done about the excessive hooning, a serious accident is inevitable.

We have our family holiday at Mooloolaba every year and have been doing so for well over a decade now and each year the noise (from motorbikes and holdens/falcons predominately) is getting worse year on year and this is the first time we have started to consider going somewhere else. The cost to holiday at Mooloolaba has risen exponentially every year so one would except the amount of rev heads/hooligans and goons to be controlled or as a minimum, at least reduced.

The nights on Marina Walk are horrendous revving vehicles filthy lauguage and rubbish left everywhere. No parking between 8pm and 4am bit nobody pays any attention to it and nobody is policing it.

The sound of noisy vehicles both cars and particularly motor bikes is becoming increasingly disturbing, to the point where it now constitutes a nuisance.
