Schools should rather use cellphones as educational devices like for example (use phones to teach us how to properly do reach access online programs for studying and implementing online after school notes to improve learning quality of learners) Its an human nature to obey rules that's exactly why students keeps using cellphone in class when school ruls already prohibite cellphone use during class This is why i personally think students will still obey this rule&find new solutions to obey ruls

We need to contact our parents, and most teachers actually let us use our phones to do work in class and we need our timetables

It's important since everyone needs a phone during an emergency, and to learn and communicate.

My school has a phone ban, and it’s done nothing but bad for our school.

It starts to feel like a prison, but yet the motto is: the school where everyone is someone. More like where everyone needs a fingerprint and has to hand in their personal items. The problem is that some parents did not educated their children on how to use phones responsibly, and now the disciplined children have to lead the way. The school can't solve the problem, they are just demonstrating to children that they don't need to be disciplined because someone else will regulate you.

I believe kids should be allowed to be on their phones as long as they show rules about it

Because it takes away the right of having and owning a phone.

I have gotten locked in the bathroom because my fingerprint didn't work when I tried to scan out of the gate, then got yelled at a teacher for being late but I had to phone one of my friends to come and get me, getting rid of the phones will bring the school to chaos, they don't send information early enough and we don't know what subjects we have and when the bell rings.

students need to communicate with parents when making plans some people say we should communicate before hand but sometimes the misscommunication is on the guardians side also some of us need the homework also some teachers encourage us by using our phones by sending us the clocktimes and messages on grade groups even by making us play kahoot

Durbanville is using this as a scapegoat, they aren’t actually trying to stop bullying, they wanna make it seem like they are .
