The creek is an important part of our daily lives. We walk the creek everyday with our dogs. I can't believe that our fresh water and wildlife is at this risk!

I second what I’ve seen many others say — This isn’t opposition to development, it’s opposition to the wrong development in the wrong location. Too many important environmental, watershed, traffic, and neighbourhood concerns remain unanswered.

Our area needs trails and room for trees and animals to live also. Our air needs more treed places in order to filter pollution. Housing can be built someplace else where trees and nature won’t have to be uprooted or destroyed.

It’s a natural habitat to be left to flourish naturally. All of this construction will disturb this important natural environment.
One home built there would be better than a multi-plex.
It is also so close to an active noisy railway line. I’m also concerned for the safety of more people living at the bottom of a hill, on a road with lots of traffic. It’s just not the most optimal place for people to live. It should be carefully maintained and managed as a native habitat and trail.

Clean potable water is an essential resource, worth saving. Alternative sites for housing are abundant.
Access to woodlands has proved to be therapeutic, a valuable asset available to residents. Preserve it, don't destroy it!
