We are asking the school to take stalking seriously and protect the students who have been targeted. When a boy stalked my friends and me, and we tried to report it, the school refused to believe us. Instead of responding to our safety concerns, we were dismissed as overreacting and told it might just mean he liked us. That kind of response is not acceptable.

Leaking someone’s address online is not affection. Following someone out of every class and to their home is not harmless behavior. Taking photos of a person’s house is not normal interest. Acting in a sexual way toward someone without consent is not okay. These actions make people feel watched, unsafe, and unable to move through school and home life without fear.

This is a serious issue, especially when girls are not taken seriously because of their gender. We should not have to prove that we deserve to feel safe. The school must listen when students report stalking, stop dismissing our concerns, and take proper steps to protect those affected.

We are asking for real action, not excuses. The school should investigate these reports, respond with care, and make sure every student knows that stalking, harassment, and sexual behavior without consent will not be ignored. Everyone deserves to feel safe at school and in their own neighborhood.
