I would hate hearing this in Australia! I couldn’t stand hearing the call to prayer whilst overseas, was so relieved to return to Australia! It is so loud and drove me mad.
They can set an alarm, it does not need to be on a speaker affecting everyone else.
Please do not let this happen in Australia!!

this is Australia, not a middle eastern country. It is disturbing hearing these call to pray announcements. People in public going about their business shouldn’t have to listen to this wailing while they are out shopping or going for walks. It is disturbing the peace. They stopped church bells being rung on Sundays because people complained, why should people have to put up with this rubbish.

This will only be the start..start with 1 then onto the next mosque!! As a catholic our ringing of the bells are allowed to be heard any more..why are they being given a privilege. This is not an Islamic country...I do not want to hear this in a suburb I live in. How dare they!!!
