If approved this will set a dangerous precedent. This display of religious dominance should not be tolerated or allowed in Australia. No community should be subjected to a broadcast of prayer, particularly when there are many alternative methods to get this message out directly to their followers.

I don’t want a religion forced upon me in a public space. Practice your religion inside your mosque. Or, use modern technology and send a text. Give an inch and they’ll take a mile. How long before they want to broadcast 5 times a day, 7 days a week. Then what next? This is Australia, not the Middle East.

This will set a precedent to give wright to all mosques to have loud speakers. They have it here in Caroline Springs at an Islamic school and it permiates the whole precinct and is not appropriate.
