Ludicrous to close this very active station. People would be at a greater risk if its shut down. Think about it ✌🏻

My nephew is a firefighter at Yorkhill, and he tells me it is imperative for the safety of the local community that this really important station remains open. This summer we have all seen the increased demand for SFRS across Scotland. Listen to our brave firefighters, and kerp this station open.

So much student accommodation and new flats built in Yorkhill station area over the last few years which should reflects an urgent response time when needed.

These guys do an amazing job and would be a mistake closing this station.

Very important to keep fire stations open hard working guys in communities. Where would you be whe major fires kick in and no back up?like the station one ? Or local to these guys when no one else can attend !

Because it is putting communities at risk and reducing response times.

Local stations are needed to provide cover to the community. Losing local stations will mean loss of life

If one house is saved from destruction by the York Hill fire service it would be safe to say that the tax payer would be more than simply happy to keep a service that all families need. By all I mean all sectors of society rich and people....there isn't a person alive that will ever carry the right to outpace staying alive

A much needed resource for local area, especially with all.if the flats so close by. Speed in an emergency will be crucial!
