This is a community service that is badly needed in the area. The firefighters know the locale alongside the surrounding communities. The response is fast as is safe and the station fighters have supported the massive fire in the town recently.

Speed of response is essential at any fire. Recent events at Central Station show that big fires can still happen. In Glasgow Necropolis is a large memorial to firefighters who have lost their lives in precious big fires this cannot be forgotten, those who make this decision should ask if they would like their name against it should the consequence be loss of lives and buildings in the future. Public services are already stretched and unable to respond as they may like.
Cuts have to stop.
