Totally inappropriate to ignore heritage laws and sites for developers to demolish and build high rise apartments with full support of this Labour government. Both developers and government representatives are making money out of these despicable developments

A first photo is only first once. Putting a monstrosity in its view is not worth considering.

State Govt’s current uncontrolled building plan negatively impacts so much of Sydney’s broad historic character.

The Mosman/Balmoral slopes overlooking the Harbour should be preserved as areas of historic interest. Ther are countless other more suitable sites close to transport and shops within a short distance of the city which can be developed for LOW COST HOUSING and not pretend that the present Government development proposals are simply allow developers to build multi-million dollar properties and override local councils who value the rights of owners and want to retain the unique character of surro

Once the face of Mosman is destroyed by inappropriate high rise developments in the face of iconic views it cannot be replaced. It would be like painting out the face of the Mona Lisa. Put the development where it belongs on the Military/Spit road ridgeline

Not only the importance of heritage, beauty and community value but why are building resources and builders being used to destroy something like this instead of being used elsewhere to provide genuine affordable housing and emergency housing for homeless people who are increasing in numbers. One size does not fit all.

Increasing development puts natural beauty at risk for all future generations. They will not thank us if we do not protect their right to enjoy natural beauty and views of the iconic Sydney Harbour. We cannot let this suburb just become another high rise developers dream

I believe this proposed development and all the other developments in Almora, Muston and Redan Street will destroy the whole historical amphitheatre and special qualities of the Balmoral area which are loved, not only by residents, but the general public and guests and travellers to the area.
These developments completely ignore privacy, sun and views of so many surrounding buildings and have caused a great deal of stress and anxiety to people who have made their lives in this area.

All these huge multi-storey, multi bedroom developments being approved have THREE THINGS thing in common - 1. They are designed to attract Foreign Money, or accommodate the well-healed. 2. They are all MULTI-BEDROOM LUXURY APARTMENTS, to give the Developer the most profit and 3. They are UNAFFORDABLE FOR SINGLES AND YOUNG BUYERS. Mosman promises to push out all our young and singles. It's painful to conclude what we will look like, 20 years down the track!!

This development will put money in the pockets of developers, will not in any way assist in solving the housing crisis and will be totally inappropriate in its setting.

I object to the development proposed at 48-50 Upper Almora Street as it will destroy the harmony of surrounding street scapes and obliterates the harbour views of many of the homes behind the proposal.

Size and height Completely inappropriate in this area. Not even close to public transport and two affordable housing will have no impact on the crisis but on the whole of Mosman

This is not building affordable housing. It is about profit. Who that needs it can afford the so called affordable housing.? Who are these people. It feels like a scam.

Australia has always prided itself on its egalitarian approach to life! Views of the harbour is a fundamental right. Why should this view of sydney harbour be available to only a few! This building is way too big for the area and denies everyone of this fundamental right
