It's absolutely outrageous how many beautiful areas of our gorgeous countryside are being laid to waste by more houses. Please fill up all the empty houses across Somerset.

This project threatens to ruin the Blackdown vale which is enjoyed by so many in its current state. This is not in keeping with the existing village or community.

The infrastructure of the area is inadequate, roads into town are overloaded, services like Health, Schools etc are poorly equipped to deal with this number of dwellings. Farmland is being devastated and the quality of life for existing residents of Taunton will be much reduced.

So much of our land is going to be lost by these greedy builders and shame on the council's for allowing it. It's not right. I will join the fight.

This land should not have been sold in the first place. The amount of money generated from this will be enormous and it is pure greed by TW. There are enough brown field sites in our county town that need regeneration before we destroy anymore farm land and habitat. The uk roughly loses 76,000 acres of farm land each year to housing and infrastructure projects. We must keep our farm land secure from mass development because this is paramount for food production in these uncertain times.
