Have lived here all my life . It would be a loss of important agricultural land . With increasing changing weather patterns we need to keep agricultural land for food production. Water will also be an issue with so many houses putting extra strain on already creaking supplies . The visual and ecological impact would also be very destructive.

This is unsustainable as a development we need this prime agricultural land for food production and biodiversity. Developments like this do not contribute to people's health and wellbeing they create ghettos of residential concrete and tarmac. With insufficient greenspaces & supporting services they are a disaster for humans and nature. A few trees planted do not offer a substitute for this loss

This development is within 2km of an AONB, encroaches on ancient woodland, and would create a town in an area that is currently agricultural land, and no relevant infrastructure

The housing development proposed would alter the whole character of the Blackdown Vale and destroy many acres of fertile agricultural land . The infrastructure of Taunton would not be able to cope with so much additional traffic and so many more people . Please sign this petition to help preserve this beautiful area.

Stop concreting and tarmacing over our countryside. No matter how 'enviromentally friendly' you pretend these developments are, they'll never replace the beautiful countryside you're destroying and never replace the habitat of the animals you're driving out. Will you ever listen? Of course not!
