We do not need to keep laying down concrete on beautiful British soil, we are living right now in a man making climate change - we need trees plants and pollinators to try and begin to reverse the damage we have done to this world

This is a beautiful rural area which I know very well as my horse was stabled at Netherclay and I regularly rode through Orchard Portman. There are already so many new housing developments in Taunton, please do not ruin this special landscape with yet another huge development in a totally unsuitable location.

Taunton is already overpopulated and our roads are becoming more and more congested.
Besides that new reservoirs are never built to compensate for the extra water usage.

Such a large scale development on this site is totally inappropriate - the infrastructure, water and roads particularly, just cannot take it. Where are residents going to work? The artist's impression of the development is totally misleading. What evidence is there that they will use active travel? The development in such an environmentally sensitive area is inappropriate too. Planning law is totlly unfit for purpose. It produces unimsginative copycat developments that totally disregard the land
