Because the infrastructure of Taunton, hospital, schools, doctors surgeries, roads, public transport, etc, cannot cope. Developers promise the earth but do not deliver. Once again our natural landscape is being threatened. When it's gone, it's lost forever and the quality of life is compromised. Please do not let this happen.

I live in a nearby village and concerned by huge increase in inhabitants and how all the services will be able to cope aswell as the loss of beautiful countryside which is why many people love the area!

Have lived here all my life . It would be a loss of important agricultural land . With increasing changing weather patterns we need to keep agricultural land for food production. Water will also be an issue with so many houses putting extra strain on already creaking supplies . The visual and ecological impact would also be very destructive.

This is unsustainable as a development we need this prime agricultural land for food production and biodiversity. Developments like this do not contribute to people's health and wellbeing they create ghettos of residential concrete and tarmac. With insufficient greenspaces & supporting services they are a disaster for humans and nature. A few trees planted do not offer a substitute for this loss

We are being told we need to grow more of our own food in this Country, they would be building are Arable land!
Our wildlife is suffering.

This development is within 2km of an AONB, encroaches on ancient woodland, and would create a town in an area that is currently agricultural land, and no relevant infrastructure

The housing development proposed would alter the whole character of the Blackdown Vale and destroy many acres of fertile agricultural land . The infrastructure of Taunton would not be able to cope with so much additional traffic and so many more people .
