This is important habitat and also productive farm land. The local lanes between Taunton and and the A358 already can not cope at all. The state of them is terrible and positively dangerous. Save the existing villages from this madness.

This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and one of the only places people in Taunton can go to for cycling walking lovely villages etc ...please don't destroy yet another area of beautiful countryside around Taunton with a mass development. A new town surely needs to go somewhere at least 15-20 miles away from another major town. Otherwise you just create chaos, loads of traffic and people wonder why and how it was allowed to happen. Please don't make an awful, poor decision.

The idea that Taylor Wimpey can build the equivalent of a small town to the south east of Taunton on the only green wedge of land remaining around our country town is horrifying to the majority of us!

Because losing this wonderful resource with it’s eco system, great farming land and a wonderful asset for a concrete jungle sold to Taylor Wimpey for a steal should NOT be given the go ahead. there are Brown field sites in their dozens that could and should be built on, not pristine countryside.

It is not an area to be destroyed by housing when there are plenty of empty houses and brownfield sites available. As a country we must put thought into planning and not mindlessly build houses destroying our countryside and taking away our food security. The infrastructure is not there for 7000 houses and village and rural life should be respected.

We would be a very small island of 23 park homes in the middle of a monstrosity of a town. All the green belt land would be gone, all the valuable farming land would be gone too. That's only the start too.
