We must not build right next to edge of AONB : there must be border of 2km and a green belt to Taunton. Government housing quotas are not justified and are unsupported by job growth in area and are grotesquely damaging to environment

If we keep putting housing developments on agricultural land we will move further and further from being able to feed the nation and will become increasingly over dependent on imported food. As an island nation this is risky. All these developments also happen without adequate investment in the sewage system or adequate account taken of flood prevention or with sufficient provision for making these homes as environmentally sustainable as possible.

2. The local infrastructure is already creaking at the seams and cannot support that increased level of houses and people.

I have lived in this area all my life and have watched Taunton and it's facilities decline as more and more houses are built. I do not believe we can cope with even more agricultural land being eaten up by housing.

There is not the infrastructure to support this development.
So many people ordinary people can't afford to buy houses now -
this development is only lining the pockets of those building it.
