Not enough schools to educate the amount of kids that’ll move in, no jobs for the extra people coming in, not enough Doctors/dentist surgeries, pressure on Musgrove for increasing patients, where is all the extra water, gas and Electric going to come from, extra volume of traffic and completely ruining an area of outstanding natural beauty for pocket lining and greed.

Brownfield sites and empty properties must be considered first. This would be on prime agricultural land which is needed for food production. The proposed new town would affect The Blackdown Hills National Landscape, one of the areas that makes Somerset so unique. It must be protected at all costs.

This is an area of outstanding beauty, full of flora and fauna that have been there since the very beginning. Destroying the area with housing and roads will poison the ground, destroy habitats and unbalance nature for ever. Noise and light pollution, traffic congestion and intense pressure on local amenities go hand in hand. I was born down the road and my love for the area runs in my blood.

This is precious green land on the edge of an Area of outstanding natural beauty. The local infrastructure cannot come with the number of people as it is, with no current plans to help. More houses without improved infrastructure would only make things worse.

The infrastructure of Taunton, hospital, Drs Surgeries, schools are already at full stretch. 7000 homes is not a village, it is a town the size of Wellington. There is little local employment meaning commuting which in the context of planning principles does not meet the criteria of sustainability.
How will the phosphate issue be mitigated, where is the water supply coming from? There is nothing to recommend this wholly unnecessary intrusion into the open coutryside

Just stop all these huge developments. Our infrastructure, water supplies and highways can't take any more. prime agricultural land with environmental and landscape value should not be built on when there are many small brownfield sites which are more suitable.

I am a member of Taunton vale polo club to would be a huge loss to everyone the second oldest polo club in Britain we have had a very busy season with charity matches and introducing a lot of people to polo giving them lessons and we are probably the most affordable club in the country Mark Williams the chairman runs his his pony hire business hiring his ponies out for clubs members which makes it affordable we can’t all afford to buy our own ponies and rely on mark

I have a tawny owl flying over my garden and sits in the fir trees . They do make alot of noise . But so glad we have them . No more houses are needed in this part of Somerset.
