I live in the local beautiful village and I'm against this house building as it will destroy the hole area just to make way for the government to house illegal immigrants plus Taunton dies not need any more housing this town is getting d
Ruined by constant building on green land.

This development is too large for the infrastructure that will surround it. There is no plan for additional roads, hospitals or jobs for additional 16,000 people. This is an area of AONB and should not be considered for this scale of development.

There has been enough desecration of our beautiful countryside and wildlife by building soulless estates. Brownfield and existing buildings should be used to convert to housing.

The existing infrastructure, doctors and dentists surgeries, blue light, hospitals, and schools cannot cope with the population now. The proposed site is green field

Building in and around Taunton is now completely out of hand fuelled by money and greed, our beautiful town, countryside and even County is being violated and destroyed. It breaks my heart.

It will destroy the beautiful countryside and there isn't sufficient infrastructure in the area, roads nedical facilities, schools etc. to support such a massive development.

This an outstanding area of natural beauty, with diverse wildlife and countryside: snakes, bats, deer , foxes , doormice , miles of hedgerows : so many supposedly protected species . Develop brown sites / empty houses and shops ( Taunton has enough of them). This landscape is irreplaceable, dont turn it into concrete and astro turf just to line pockets. How the Crown headed by someone supposedly into conservation has sold to developers is beyond me .

This is much too big a development in totally the wrong place. 1600 houses are being constructed in Staplegrove and the village will never be the same!

This area is so beautiful. We cannot lose it, the wildlife depends on it. To build here would be an absolute disgrace

Greedy developer wants to destroy a National landscape with a new “village” the size of Wellington. Hands off our Blackdown Vale!

The motorway should be the absolute boundary for the development of Taunton. The Blackdown Hills with itheir very special features & the views towards them should be preserved at all costs

Completely unnecessary over development of the south west.
