The Blackdowns is an area of outstanding natural beauty and old roads. There is not the infrastructure to cope with this development and it will eat into an ancient and historic landscape

Other places including empty properties and brown field sites should be regenerated. Prime Taunton vale farmland should NOT be used for building anything. This is a beautiful area which I lived and worked in for 18years. Roads not able to take more traffic and not enough infrastructure despite what they claim.

There are two important reasons to me.
1 Somerset is a rural county with an infrstructure of small villages, these should be supported and not allowed to wither and die, small schools closing, pubs and village shops closing because of lack of population....yet this proposal proves people want to live in our county. We need to support the communities we already have ..not replace with thos new build

The desecration of our green spaces has to stop. There are more than enough brownfield sites available in the county, there should be a change in the way these housing developers are granted permission, they should be made to use brownfield sites first and only build on the green spaces as a last resort.

Take our farmland there will be no food
