We need this spot of natural beauty. It’s a Somerset treasure in this region and cannot be replaced. It would be an absolute detriment to the environment and we do nothing have the infrastructure of school and medical centres to support 7,000 new homes.

We have far too many developments now without infrastructure. I live right beside the Orchard Grove development and I think that is huge so 7,000 houses
is colossal. Our roads are already clogged up so please council reject this proposal.

This is a beautiful area of countryside, previously designated of outstanding natural beauty. It’s prime farm land. The infrastructure to support building here is non existent. The roads in the immediate vicinity are narrow, dangerous and not fit for increased traffic. I understand that other new housing developments SW of Taunton and other surrounding areas are proving difficult to sell.

England and Somerset needs its green spaces and a whole new town built on the foothills of Blackdown Hills, decided on by Labour bureacrats in Whitehall, is not needed. Taunton has yet to finish building and selling hundreds, if not thousands of new builds already!
