Pickleball should remain in the park long with tennis, basketball, softball and baseball. Recreation all together at the park.

Because this shouldn’t even be an issue!

I drive through the park often and I always see a large group of people surrounding the pickle ball courts. It is a valuable resource for our community. The park is a public place where physical activities shouldn’t be banned because people want to complain about noise. The complainers need to figure out a way to fix their own problems such as put a sound barrier up.

This shouldn’t even be up for debate, it’s a public space! And pickleball isn’t a disruptive activity at all anyways

Are we living in the Twilight Zone? Buy a house in the country if you can’t tolerate noise that comes with city living. I miss the Belfast I grew up in.

Because no one resident should take away from the activities enjoyed by many youth and adults alike. Nor should my taxpayer dollars fund a move. Stop this nonsense and setting a ridiculous prevents

Because I feel that is what our mark is for, for adults as well as children to play. The park had been as long as I can remember. I was born and raised here and still live here.

The park is designed to be used by the community. What better way is there than to enjoy it with friends and family. This is a great place for people to gather and have harmless fun and get outside.

My aunt plays pickleball and I would love to learn to. A great community just having fun. Shouldn’t have to move locations!

Our tax money should be going towards education, the elderly or something in the park for the children that has been neglected for years- like the pool. We should all be picking out side of the town office!

The Belfast City Park has been an important part of Belfast's culture for generations. Many of us took swimming lessons there in the pool "with the big rock", attended the Broiler Festival, little league games, and class reunions. It has always been filled with people and with noise. The pickle ball courts should remain at the park and continue to be enjoyed and part of the parks future.

A single person that CHOSE to live next to the park should NOT get the option to shut down community services simply because they "don't like it." That park is for the community and pickle ball has become an excellent way for EVERYONE of all ages to come together and enjoy a fun game, socialize, and exercise.

I have enjoyed playing Pickleball when visiting friends who live in Belfast. We met locals who also enjoy Pickleball, people who we otherwise would never have spoken too. These activities that bring people together in a time where many spend their time indoors on screens should be preserved and cherished as a means of bringing people in the community together.
