We have high stress jobs and this is a major factor of living where we do and spending almost a mill on buying and renovating this house to make it our forver family home. Having the access to the train station was a major factor in this decision for us

I rely on this access for my commute to work. Losing it greatly increases the time it takes for me to get to the station, also requiring me to cross a busy road and be exposed to exhaust fumes of cars on london road. Closing the access would deprive the area of a common good, the reasons for doing so have not be substantiated

I agree with all the reasons provides for keeping this safe access open. I know that if it is closed there will be more pressure on traffic causing more congestion on London Road as residents who would normally walk through the safe side access will be forced to take a car. Furthermore, adding to pollution in the environment, pressure for more parking spaces and a higher probability of accidents. There is a global concern for reducing pollution and decreasing climate change.

It is far safer than walking underneath the bridge to Felden Lane, especially in autumn/winter. It also takea longer. Put a camera at door if there is a fare dodging concern.

The proposed new route is far more dangerous- part of it includes a very narrow pavement going under a bridge which leaves pedestrians extremely close to fast moving traffic. This cannot be the safer option.
