"Education should open doors, not close them." The University of Nairobi is pricing future lawyers out of their dreams. Say NO to the law fees hike. Stand with us, sign the petition, and protect the right to affordable higher education today!

Arbitrary school fee hike without any justification not only affects the student but also the sponsors

We had already made plans and adjusted accordingly based on the 150k per year fee structure

School fees should only be increased for 1st years before the join. They can take that if it must. But school fees should never be increased as the course progresses. It is unfair and arbitrary.

Irregular fee increment without consulting with relevant stakeholders is indeed very shameful and unfortunate to the university of Nairobi flatternity..

I am signing because education should be accessible, not increasingly unaffordable. Students deserve transparency, fairness, and fees that reflect our financial realities.

In the difficult economic times, a hike would be unbearable

It is necessary to institutionalize order. No arbitrary fee increases. Everything must be structured and be subjected to public participation as per our constitution

The additional fees on the students is a reason enough to quit learning. This clashes with the constitutional provisions of right to education. Additionally, fees added should follow public participation on which consensus must be reached for it to be implemented. Failure to include the two awaken the spirit of rebellion from the affected community of the comrades and parents responsible for the fees as well.

The fee being paid doesn't align with the education we are provided for as module 2 students. Hence irrelevant.

They're increasing the fees after we've been admitted and intially they provided us with a totally different fee structure...it is financially burdensome

Hiking school fees without consultation negate basic human decency. In any case our classes are online and thus should instead be cheaper than the traditional physical classes. We pay more for services that we seldom utilise. What I'm asking is to mantain school fees at kshs 150,000

The procedural legitimate expectation must apply. Increment of fee mid semester is a no.
