Taking away these spaces would create unnecessary hardship and inconvenience for residents and make an already difficult parking situation worse. I also strongly oppose removing security guards. Their presence provides an important layer of safety and helps deter crime. Residents deserve both adequate parking and a safe community.

In our "mixed use" neighborhood, not good for a "one-size fits all" requirement. I believe the policy that's in place now allows for the flexibility needed in the Otay Ranch Five development which contains apartments, Attached homes and single family residents.
