Keep this facility for the community and the residents of Moore County. They deserve this and you owe it to them. Respect the sacrifices of those that worked hard and diligently to build , secure, and establish a safe multipurpose space for our community.

It should stay to be used by this end of the country. It is part of our history and has been used for so many things

This might only be a "property" to a buyer, but it has been an important part of our community for a very long time. It has been a meeting place for so many activities, events, sports, and gatherings. No we do not agree with it being taken from us or our community! Besides Carthage is as far north as anyone need to be with their commercial or cluttered over populated housing ideas.

The community center is an important part of our Northern Moore community. It should be preserved for the area it was meant to serve.

A lot of great times playing baseball there as a kid. It needs to be restored. The county should put some money into the northern part for once.

I am not originally from here but my ancestors were and they kept the faith that a place like this would be an asset to the community. I feel it should be returned to the community.

This community center has been a resource for the people of Northern Moore County for my entire life. Reading that it was given in 1951 by our black neighbors to the county means that agreement deserves to be honored. There is plenty of Parks and Rec programming that is normally held in Carthage which could have satellite options in the community center. Free Spanish & English classes? I can think of many uses better than the dollar value of the mere sale of the property to a private owner.

This center has a very historic past. Many children learned to dance there and many senior citizens enjoyed fellowship there as well. I hope it's not sold to the highest bidder to become a housing development!!!
