I fully support the return of this facility to the local community! It was originally given to the county to be a school and should be returned to the community so we can use it for summer camps, daycare opportunities, sports, etc. Please help the community and families of Northern Moore by returning the facility to us.

I am signing this petition as a decendant of George Henry Brower who purchased this land originally and gave it to his son who sold it to his wife's brother who GAVE it to the county not sold it to the county to be used for a school for African Americans.

The Davis community center would be used for various activities for upper Moore County. A day care is desperately needed in this area. One of the old classrooms could accommodate such. FYI I was in the last eight grade graduation at Davis School

Because it was my great uncle who donated the land and it was not meant to be sold to a private highest bidder

My siblings attended this school during Jim Crow era. My brother played baseball for this location on the 60s and 70s. The surrounding villages need a health and wellness center from fresh and local food to state of the art academic center for the youth.

The future of the Davis Community Center is important to residents of the Northern Moore County area! The Center should remain accessible to residents for various internal activities and for ongoing use of the external playground for the youth to utilize for soccer, football, softball, and other sports.
Please preserve use and access to the Davis Community Center for the residents.
