My brother used this facility for his therapy (he has severe autism, nonverbal). I agree with this petition, and believe it should be reserved for community use for generations to come.

Davis school and community center has been an integral part of Northern Moore county.
To sell this property would be a violation of trust that the people of this community have placed with Moore County.
Stewardship and control of this property should remain with local community leaders.

Historical structure and it belongs to the great folks of Northern Moore County. If sold some person or company will buy it and turn it into houses like everything other piece of land in Moore County. It would old make a great community center and daycare which is a HUGE need and also youth sports center.

I attended at Davis Elementary School from the 1st to 4th grade as well as my 7 siblings prior to integration. The school has been an integral part of this community and should continue to be available to it.

Please continue to preserve use and access of the Davis Community Center for
use of our residents in upper Moore County. Please do not put it up for sale to the highest bidder. This would not allow the residents of upper Moore County to have input into services and how this facility should be used.

We used to play on the field when I was younger. My whole family would play softball together every time we got a chance! We would have a family picnic after.

We and I want to keep it in our family and community use! Not to be sold to someone else who isn't versed in our roots of the community.

I remembwr going there with mama to vote and girl scouts would meet there somei think. It should not be going to the highest bidder, it should go back to the community in the family or someone that could keep it up. It is a staple of the community

Davis Community Center has been a staple in and for the residents of Northern Moore County for years. The potential of what it can still be and do for the community is not over. It deserves the opportunity to continue to serve generations to come.
