students should focus on studying and enjoying the school environment and mixing with others to set examples not to be restricted by zones.

Not worked how they thought , The thing that gets me is morning brake for a studio pupil that’s been at the far side of the main school has to walk across the school and back to studio there next lessons at the far side of the main school again turn round walk back that’s not a brake , if any one had a issue with some one the kids had there safe areas they go to not any more the idea simply don’t work maybe work on the nanny issues the school already has before creating another

My son need a quiet outside space, hes now concerned to be outside, the area is too small . Please can this be looked at again. Year 11 is not the year to be radically changing a pupil spare time area which can affect frames of mind.

Zones have many disadvantages and no advantages for students.
1. The library is busy because y7, 8 and 9 use it to meet as they can't elsewhere
2. Y10 and 11 can't use the library to revise as it is nearly impossible to get a pass
3. Pupils are late due to overcrowding and being on the opposite side of school
4.we are nor prepared for work as we can only speak to our year
And these are only some of the issues!

This is not fair for all years and should be aloud to exercise and have freedom to move around school , this is confusing and unnecessary and I haven’t been able to eat lunch since the only places to eat are full and you can only sit out side on the steps or stood up in the cold.

As someone who left QES a few years ago, I am very disappointed to hear that this is something being enforced. I was in Year 10 in 2020/21, when we had similar zoning restrictions in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and from what I understand we had access to a larger area then than current Year 10s have now. The campus was one of the strongest aspects of my time at QES, and I always felt lucky that I had access to such a large site. To restrict students in this way is needlessly cruel.

There is another petition to keep the zones, and I suspect it has been started by a teacher (Fred Bloggs…?). It is really affecting so many people in and around the ‘QeFamily’. Regarding mental health of the pupils, it is deteriorating greatly as the zones are causing a huge amount of anxiety, overcrowding, claustrophobia and even violence (especially in the studio school and the three storey block). On ‘Fred Bloggs’’ petition, it says they are solving bullying. I am being trapped with my bully.

If it's about trying to find students more quickly, surely it's easier to let them have their phones and just ring them x

The zones can't be enforced if all the students just ignore it and mingle where they like

These zones are deeply affecting those around me and myself, I often have to go to roeburn to avoid the busy crowds around the three story block, people are being silly in the comments but this is a real issue affecting many of the students and it’s causing people to have panic attacks, which, I myself had on the first day. It’s so bad for students who had formed friendships in other year groups and it’s preventing the new students from making new friends. It means in the future we will struggle

The restrictive zones at school are causing unnecessary anxiety and tension among students. During break times, there are very few places where students can relax, socialise, and enjoy their free time. Constantly being told where we can and cannot go makes break feel stressful rather than enjoyable. Students need safe spaces where they can unwind, talk with friends, and have a proper break from lessons. I believe the school should reconsider these restrictions and provide more areas for students

I've contemplated on my original ideas and released it is a good thing school is keeping me away from the year 8's due to the fact i can get a little excited and giddy when i see them which causes my inner demons to come out with overcomes my will power so i am happy i can no longer be within close contact of them
