In my personal opinion, he comes across as an honest, genuine, and caring man who has always treated people with kindness and respect. Everyone makes mistakes, and I don’t believe he deserves to be dismissed over something this small. His character and the positive impact he has had on others should count for far more than one isolated situation. We stand by him, support him, and hope this can be handled fairly and with understanding.

This was an unfair dismissal, even through he was honest to his manager. a dismissal without warning after serving 20+ years in this job is completely unfair and definitely not apart of his rights as a human. He deserves his job back.

Everybody makes mistakes, the person mildly injured was happy with an apology, and with INTEGRITY he self reported it. Royal Mail should be ashamed and I will make this public!!! You should cherish such loyal long term staff. You can see what a great representative for Royal Mail he was, by this petition alone!! Royal Mail should be appologising to this man and praising his honesty!!

After 23 years of giving his blood, sweat and tears to Royal Mail, my dad has been unfairly dismissed. He dedicated over two decades of loyal service and always took pride in his work, so to see him treated this way is heartbreaking.
He deserved fairness, respect, and better than this. If this can happen to someone after 23 years of loyal service, it can happen to anyone.
Thank you to everyone who has supported him so far. Please continue to stand by him as he fights for justice.

Ish was our postman 11 years ago before we moved over to a different part of DH and we now have Alan (another lovely postie). I remember Ish because he was friendly and helpful, I hope he gets his job back.
