Ish has been involved in a minor accident which in no way should warrant dismissal. This action is way above any sanction that might be imposed. He is a lovely compassionate man who deserves our full support..

Support for local communities is very important and everyone deserves equality and inclusion and respect for long term services. I am sure the post office has had enough scandal over the years. Respect for ish!!

Whilst we lived on TBL in DH for 9 years, Ish was always friendly, professional and really cared. We always noticed when he was on holiday. This is such a shame that he has been dismissed this way! I hope he reads all these comments to see how valued and liked he is.

I was present when the accident happened. Ish was barely reversing at 5mph and the pedestrian walked out from behind a hedge, with their headphones on. There was not a chance he would have seen her. He attended to her respectfully, I spoke with him, and we had no intention of complaining, as it wasn't his fault. The attending manager was extremely pushy looking for us to point blame. He was relentless in his pursuit. The victim is willing to attend any appeals hearing to support Ish

If the information shared in this petition is accurate, fairness and proportionality are fundamental principles of any disciplinary process. Twenty-three years of exemplary service, previous conduct, mitigating circumstances and the overwhelming support of the local community should all be given appropriate weight during the appeal process. Having known Ish through his work, I always found him to be a fantastic ambassador for Royal Mail. I hope the outcome is reconsidered.
