This postman went beyond what is required to provide an efficient service and create a positive image for the post office. In all of my adult life I have not come across a more cheerful and dedicated public servant (67 years).

Ish has been an amazing postman all through COVID, never stopping, and helping out the community/ taking a genuine interest. My understanding is that he's been dismissed after reporting an accident that he had. This is surely not a stackable offence? I do hope that this will be reviewed; I did wonder why my parcels were not going to the safe place (and his knowledge of our area was lost without any thoughts for this hard working family man)

Ish is far more than a postman — he is an exceptional one, consistently going above and beyond for the community. Royal Mail, do the right thing: reinstate him now!

If Royal Mail has chosen to let Ish go, then I believe it has made a deeply disappointing decision. It is hard to understand how an organisation can lose someone so dedicated, professional, and genuinely caring. Ish represents the very best of Royal Mail, and treating loyal, hardworking staff this way sends entirely the wrong message.
For years, Ish has gone above and beyond for our community. He has earned our trust and respect through his kindness, reliability, and commitment. In my view, if R

Ish has served our community for over 20 years, he knows most of us by name and goes out of his way to stop and have a chat. Lovely guy, we need him back

Ish has been a pillar of our community for so long. His dismissal is a disproportionate action based on his years if loyal and dedicated service to the residdmts of Dickens Heath.

Reversing a van with no rear visibility except for side mirrors is always iffy, but guess that's easy to forget from behind a desk. You have to go easy in vans and Ish must have been otherwise it would have been more serious. To reward a long standing employee's honesty with dismissal seems cavalier and unnecessary. We need posties like Ish. God help us if it was all white van men. Reinstate Ish with a more sensible rebuke. Doesn't the Royal Mail have annual appraisals for goodness sake.

He’s such a friendly and polite man. I’m really sorry to hear about the road accident, but as it was an accident, Ish deserves a second chance.

Ish's dismissal is grossly unfair. It shows, also, a lack of appreciation of loyalty which is all too common nowadays.

The dismissal of this postman after 23 years, for what is a comparatively minor offence seems totally disproportionate. Please review and reinstate Ish ASAP.
