I was present when the accident happened. Ish was barely reversing at 5mph and the pedestrian walked out from behind a hedge, with their headphones on. There was not a chance he would have seen her. He attended to her respectfully, I spoke with him, and we had no intention of complaining, as it wasn't his fault. The attending manager was extremely pushy looking for us to point blame. He was relentless in his pursuit. The victim is willing to attend any appeals hearing to support Ish

If the information shared in this petition is accurate, fairness and proportionality are fundamental principles of any disciplinary process. Twenty-three years of exemplary service, previous conduct, mitigating circumstances and the overwhelming support of the local community should all be given appropriate weight during the appeal process. Having known Ish through his work, I always found him to be a fantastic ambassador for Royal Mail. I hope the outcome is reconsidered.

Hard working people should be treated with respect.
Accidents happen and he took responsibility is being persecuted for his honesty. What is wrong with this country.
For goodness sake someone show some common sense.

Mistakes happen and this decision is unfair and unjustified. This decision does not consider the wellbeing of a long-standing Royal Mail employee.
