Why get rid of something that brings such joy to the community, especially its youth? I wholeheartedly support keeping this park, which was built with dedication and perseverance, in existence. The kids using this park aren’t numbingly staring into a phone screen and that’s always a good thing.

Because you’re destroying something that someone took the time out of their own free will, to create obstacles, skaters, bikers, etc, could get creative on. Keep this place alive to keep people away from the streets

Visited Plymside from the Midwest. Wouldn’t have come to Plymouth if it didn’t exist. I’m a personal example of how it attracts visitors.

In a place so meaningful to the United States that brings so many tourists in, I think it’s important to have a space that reflects the true authenticity and creativity on the youth / community living in said place. The park was built for and by the community.. I think it carries the true legacy of Plymouth.

Plymside is a staple in the town of plymouth and through the years of developing the park it has become one of the best skateparks in the state. It would be an absolute tragedy to tear this park down after it being around for nearly 20 years.

A lot of people have put alot of time, effort and money into making this place. It is a hub for the skateboarding community on the south shore and offers alot of what the other skateparks in the area don’t. It is also fully funded by the people who skate it, so the city is essentially destroying a free recreational space that they did not have to fund.

It’s important for our youth to have a place to go to enjoy this very popular activity that is safe and known. Also important for them to have a gathering place that is public.
