I did my second teaching internship and was floored by the amazing and deeply dedicated staff. Everyone from the teachers to the principal to the custodian were excellent. Good schools where kids are safe and nurtured deserve to stay open!

My three sisters and myself all went to OLP. (As well as our mom and her siblings) This school holds so many memories for us from the past and should stay open to provide the same opportunity to future generations!

I went to that school and my kids went to that school. It may be small but school life in my time and the school community in my kids time there was awesome. Bigger schools doesn’t automatically spell better schools. Please keep those family oriented little elementary schools open they make a bigger impact on kids wanting to learn and feeling part of something while young as they learn to navigate in this world with confidence to confront high school that is huge and impersonal.
