Mr. Walker's teaching and mentorship set me up for a very rewarding musical career. There are not enough words or gestures to convey my love and gratitude.

Paul walker is a dedicated Northern Cambria teacher and mentor who continues, even to this day, to inspire creating music in the lives of others. His passion for Northern Cambria, its students and residents, has withstood the test of time and will continue for years to come. It is my honor and privilege to say I was once under his direction and feel naming our new auditorium after him to be absolutely fitting.

He was the music teacher/band director when I was in school and I have nothing but respect for him. I think it's a great idea.

To the community, Paul Walker is a talented director who filled the auditorium with beautiful music. To his students, he was so much more. He was a lifeline who created a musical sanctuary, connecting with students on a deeply personal level and providing the hope and stability necessary to navigate the hardest years of adolescence. Dedicating the newly renovated Northern Cambria auditorium to Mr. Walker honors both the man and the countless lives he transformed.

The best band director and person as a whole. I never forgets a face and always says hello to former students, band members and people in general. I am signing this petition, because Mr. Walker deserves this! He has dedicated his life to this community and this would be a way of saying thank you in a big way!

I was Mr. Walker's student from age 8 and I am his student again at 64 in the community band. He's a great teacher and friend. The Northern Cambria Community has been his life's dedication. He is black and gold! And no one deserves this honor more. Put his name on the auditorium. It is the right call and an easy one. Joel Hammond, Class of 1980.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Walker for many years. First as a student and recently as a friend. Over the years Mr. Walker if he saw me would ask how I was doing and was always friendly. This would be a great honor to a man that has done so much for the Northern Cambria community.

Paul Walker was not only a very talented band director, but also was an inspiring mentor and teacher for many students over the years. Although I did not attend Northern Cambria, I personally witnessed these characteristics as I had the opportunity to work with him to provide many of his students with private music lessons. He most certainly deserves this recognition from the district.
