My neighbor says that he heard the people involved with this plan talking that this is really for a mens recovery facility. That is why he refuses to meet with the community. Said they just want it rezoned and the rest is taken care of already.

Strawberry plains pike is already very dangerous and additional traffic will only make it worse.

This is a terrible idea. Roads can’t handle traffic or schools are going to be full

Please vote no to rezoning this land. This is agriculture zoned land surrounded by single family and mutligenerational farms and homes and it is not appropriate for a subdivision. The subdivision regulations for knox county advise against building on land without adequate resources like this because they can often cost tax payers money and cause serious trouble. This is smack in the middle of a rural neighborhood on a very innappropriate property with many legal restrictions. Say no to joe.

Jamming 7 to 11 units per acre is not good for any area. It will kill property values and over crowd our area. Tazwell Pike is a prime example as to how Knox county keeps in tune with the infrastructure. MPC has added over 1500 home sites within a 5 mile radius. TVA is turning our thermostat up during the day because of energy consumption so what do you think will happen when more people are added to the grid, brown outs coming from TVA

There is no way that a subdivision can do anything but cause trouble in that area. The building of a subdivision will destroy the surrounding property owners peace and devalue their land. The runoff will cause terrible problems with the creeks and wetlands. He is only entitled to 1 house per acre. Show no special favoritism for this developer and side with the neighbors please.

This area cannot handle anymore building/people. People in the area moved here for the peacefulness and not mass building and residents. The road is a two lane and not meant for all the traffic it has no. When the apartments on straw Plains open traffic will be horrendous!!!

Please vote no and do not allow this property to be rezoned differently than the property that surrounds it.

Do not rezone this property. It is wrong to allow somebody to come in a buy a piece of property right in the middle of a rural neighborhood and ruin it with a subdivision. Side with the neighborhood and not the developer.

We do not want this here. Rumors say it's for a men's rehabilitation housing project. Vote NO this is too close to the little ones!

This a terrible place to add yet another subdivision. The Carter Schools are at capacity now. No food stores that can keep anything stocked. Carter is overloaded now with too many people. Please stop rezoning land that sits inside neighborhoods. These greedy developers do not care if they destroy the character of the neighborhood as long as they get rich. If you vote for this then you vote against the people trying to hang onto their lives. Say no to selling out Knox County.

I have been told by more than one responsible constituent who lives in the Carter community that the developer is not being on the up and up and that he proposes these houses for people, especially criminal men, who are getting out of prison to build houses only feet away away from our beloved Carter elementary school. I deplore the idea of paedophiles,, rapists, criminals, who are supposedly rehabilitated, anywhere near our most innocent, precious children… Nor my elderly parents who live nearby

We need to preserve our trees and open spaces. These are wildlife habitats. We don't need crowded streets
