This new development will do nothing for the community except increase traffic an strain existing resources. Roads cannot be widened. We do not need more housing.

My family has lived in the area of this proposed subdivision development for over sixty five years and they are old and very upset now. My community is being destroyed right in front of us. Why? There are plenty of places that are not in the middle of a neighborhood like this one that will not have the detrimental effects that this will have on everyone around it. This is a bad plan. Bad because that land will be almost impossible to build even one house per acre on let alone a subdivision.

We moved our family to the East side for the rural experience we grew up with. The congestion is creeping in. The woods and natural areas are being bulldozed for bland condos. Stop this. Don’t do this to our beautiful countryside. Please. Thank you.

Conservation must be upheld. That’s literally the whole point of it. There are other options for the land use here, rather than bogging down an already overburdened area with even more shotty built housing for $400K. As a community, as a county, we can’t keep putting the cart before the horse. At some point, we have to use common sense and just stop. People who have lived here their whole lives didn’t want to live in a densely populated/bustling area, otherwise we would have moved to one.

We can't keep absorbing all this housing in this community. Please say no to Joe. This is a terrible site for a subdivision.

A subdivision DOSENT belong on every last patch of woods in the Carter community. If the MPC isn't stopped by the commission the urban sprawl will destroy Knoxville. This is a rural community and this property is right smack in the middle of single family homes. Horrible place for a subdivision. Its got all kinds of environmental protections on it. This shouldn't even be considered by anyone who cares about the citizens of Knoxville.

Stop over building in our small community! This property is not suitable for a subdivision.

Vote no to this rezoning! Joe is a terrible developer who builds very expensive houses that have bad structural issues. You can't trust Joe. If his lips are moving he is lying. My cousin had to sale the house she bought from him because the structural issues. Joe Davis houses are shoddy and bad. He charged my cousin way more than the house was worth and she had to move because it was structurally unfit beyond repair in less than 2 years because he cut so many corners. He is greedy and out for $.

Knox County has had enough growth for now. Food security is also important as our constant war for the Ziojews are making transport more unaffordable. Local sustainability is important.

Please slow down the developments on Strawberry Plains Pike. We do not have the food stores to support more families! All of this development is making it worse to live here on the longtime residents.

Carter Community has had too much development! Please let the infrastructure catch up before any more approvals for this area. It does not even look like the same place anymore.

The roads and infrastructure are not large enough to accommodate anymore building of this magnitude.

We have to many new developments already being done in our community and way to many people for 1 grocery store and our schools are already full.

These roads can not be widened and are to small for more traffic ! Especially right at the school entrance. No one that lives out here wants any of this and I'll do my best to get them to vote accordingly ! The developers you are aproving build cheap junk homes and apartments which will become dilapidated in no time. Cheap materials and cheap labor for a higher return ! Shame on you all for not researching the quality they build at !

There has been way too much development in the Carter Community. Please stop approving all these subdivisions! Right now, you will have four more come for your vote at your next meeting. We just cannot handle it anymore. It is ruining our community. Take pity on us and deny them. The developers are profiting off our sorrow.

I live in this community and there is way too much housing development going on and all of the land is being taken up by developers. There’s not enough space for new development. There’s not enough stores not enough grocery not enough road. It’s too much. This used to be a beautiful quiet community and that piece is being been destroyed.

We need infrastructure done first before any more homes go in. It is morally wrong to change rural conservation land to residential. We don't want it here !!
