I live and shop in the area and traffic is already horrible enough of our Greenland has already been destroyed. We live in the county because we want to see trees and be able to sit outside and enjoy nature. Not have house to house back to back up and down every single road.

Because I love this area.
I understand Mr. Davis wants to develop this land but he is asking to approve this without a realistic plan. This is a ridiculous amount of homes to put on that peice of land with all its many many problems that will affect our homes value, compromise or destroy our wells and add further traffic burden on our section of Strawberry Plains Pike. Please Vote NO at this time.
Mr Davis can develop a plan that blends with our area and we will welcome it but today NO

I’ve lived in this area my whole life. Rezoning the area does not suit the needs or culture of the area. We have new developments that are in progress already that will undoubtedly affect traffic in a huge way. This area values the beauty of our corner of East Knox County. New residents and old alike benefit from commerce, representation and real estate developments that reflect those values. It’s just taking the step to find a solution that fits the area.

This is been a place for family gatherings, where people get food to eat. People really need to stop trying to rezone other peoples places . Its really hard also for someone who has been in the carter community for 23 years and its very sick of how people treat others.It’s like how would they feel if someone came to do them the same way ?!!! This is a community where people come to tour too . Alot of people come by off the interstate to either grab them something to eat . Stop doing this !!!!!

I'm signing this petition, but I think it's ridiculous to have to do such a thing to get something done. I'm 85 years old and have lived here in Strawberry Plains for over 60 years. I never thought I would see it come to a point that it would start to look like a city! Knox County should be ashamed of themselves for destroying this beautiful countryside with all of this housing!!!

Blasting deep excavation and major water and sewer installation raise a serious concerns for contamination of our wells and ground water.. our yard already floods putting this development here will put a struggle on our lands our homes and lives! We don’t need anymore development.. not to mention the sinkholes that were evident there and all of the wells that are gonna be destroyed. WE DO NOT APPROVE OF THIS

Start working to provide thoughtful progress that will benefit the entire communuty and the enviornment. I am from NJ. This proposed rezoning is inconsistent with the goals, land-use policies, and character outlined in our master plan.
The local infrastructure—including road capacity, water, sewer, and emergency services—is overburdened and cannot support the increased density or traffic.
The proposed use is out of character with the established single-family/residential nature of the neighborhood and will severely disrupt community standards and compromised public safety.

There is no more room on Strawberry plains pike to begin with! Too many people to many cars not enough teachers to support the children that it would bring to them. I live in directly off Mccubbins cemetery and the road here definitely not fit for more and more traffic. This is not a suitable place, considering the creek that runs all the way down through.STOP THIS NON SENSE. This is a potential hazard for us and our neighbors as when the water rises so does our yard’s This will be a nuisance

Don't want anymore house's apartments or any more living places hello I moved here 22yrs ago and it was nice county living it's already too crowded my birds don't come around like they used to i prefer oxygen over blacktop and concrete

We are in a rural area. We would like to keep that A. Rural area, we don't need any more traffic. In our area, we have enough and with the manufacturing plant opening up in midway, we're gonna be bombarded with traffic as it is. So no, we don't need any more tourist events. We have enough. Thank you.
