Students with injuries should be able to reach the school nurse without being turned away, because health care at school should not depend on having a pass in hand. When a student is hurt, whether it is a sprain or something more serious, they should get help quickly and safely.
At school, a simple injury can make the whole day harder. Walking around hurt, trying to focus in class, and waiting for help can turn a bad situation into a worse one. The nurse is there to support students when they need care, and students should not be denied access just because they do not have a pass. Rules should help keep order, not block a student from getting the attention they need.
We are asking school leaders to make sure students can get to the nurse for injuries and basic care without unnecessary barriers. If a student needs help, they should not be sent away. Clear, fair access matters, especially when someone is in pain or worried about an injury getting worse.
Nurses should be a right, not a privilege. Every student deserves a school environment where getting help is straightforward, humane, and available when it matters most.
Im signing because I believe the school should have a nurse on site during all hours of the school day.
